The Atom was the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory's monthly research newsletter, running from January of 1964 through December of 1980. In addition to research highlights, The Atom covered mission updates, atomic scientific advances from both within and outside of the Lab, employee highlights, and public event notices for the entirety of Los Alamos.
